Full job description
A lovely family in Finchley, London is looking for a Full-time or Part-time Housekeeper to ensure their property is always clean and organised. They seek someone switched-on, discreet, and proactive who takes initiative with all general housekeeping tasks. The job is split between two properties, a 10-minute walk within each property. Someone pet-friendly is ideal since their child owns a medium-sized dog. They are also open to hiring Part-time Housekeeper candidates.
Someone who could speak French or Greek languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates would also be considered.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, open to 4 days per week, around 32 to 40 hours per week
Duties include:
- Maintaining a clean family home
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
- Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
- Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
- Deep cleaning the kitchen
- Washing clothes
- Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
- Ironing
- Making up the beds and changing the linens
- Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Calling the dry cleaners, butchers etc.
- Running errands (post office, grocery shopping etc.)
The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
