Signposts is a Charity based in Luton and Dunstable providing hostel accommodation and support to those experiencing homelessness.
Accommodation Support Worker

Our aim is to help clients achieve their own individual maximum potential to live and develop within the community, supporting them on the road to a brighter future.
The Role
– To undertake all aspects of housing management throughout Signposts’ buildings.
– Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based support to our clients to empower them to set and achieve their personal goals.
– Responsible for the rent and personal charge collection from clients using regularly reviewed payment plans that develop budgeting skills.
– Ensure all clients have an up-to-date wellbeing & safety plan.
– Manage and coordinate internal and external referrals for accommodation
– Work alongside clients to ensure they each have identified their ‘move on’ plan.
– To undertake reasonable cleaning as required.
– To follow working practices that are delivered from Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs).
– To attend regular reflective practice sessions.

The Details
– Salary £23,205.00 plus car allowance for those eligible
– 6month Temporary full-time contract (37hours a week)
– 5 shifts over 7 days including rotational weekend work.
– 28 days holiday per year (includes bank holidays) increasing pro rata to 33 at 2 years.
