02 The Job
We are looking for an exceptional Associate Warehouse Specialist who will sort, retrieve, and stock warehouse product. Prepare product for shipment, assist in managing inventory, and perform related clerical duties. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Responsibilities include:
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Prepare warehouse orders for both in-house and outside domestic and/or international shipping to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- May be responsible to provide oversight when volunteers are used to sort, label or stock GIK product.
- May assist with routine deliveries and pickups.
- Receive and process incoming deliveries.
- Complete and maintain appropriate documentation and databases. Perform data entry and adjustments to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Store, retrieve and stock inventory by using standard warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and fork-lifts. Assist in maintaining safe and efficient work environment and equipment.
- Participate in process improvement projects as needed.
- May participate in or lead safety committee.
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.
03 Required Experience
- Must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- One year of warehouse or related work experience.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Able to work weekends occasionally.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
04 Salary Range & Benefits Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The full range for this position is $17.76 to $25.04. This applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. The typical hiring range is $19.58-$21.40 per hour depending on experience. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. Please indicate the range you’re targeting when asked during the application process. In addition, we have a robust and comprehensive benefits package to round out our total compensation package.
