Our client, a leading utility company, is hiring a .NET Developer on a long term contracting basis

Summary:
The primary responsibility for this position is to update a .Net application and its integrations with a major system.
This role includes but not limited to:
- Working with various functional and technical teams to design the solution
- Learning new technologies and show agility in being able to adapt to operational needs as they change
- Translate business analyst requirements into technical design and implementation
- Communicate design and development ideas to stakeholders
- Providing technical support during user acceptance testing
- Design and develop applications using Microsoft .Net technologies
Please note that while this is a remote position, the contractor will be expected to be onsite if required.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong experience with MS .Net development tools
- Strong experience with Angular
- Strong SQL Server development experience
- Experienced in C# .Net, Bootstrap and MVC
- Experience with business requirement gathering and analysis
- Focused, hard-working and willing to perform analysis at both high and low levels
- Ability to present and explain information in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical people
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly
