QDOBA Kingston is now hiring energetic, hospitality-oriented
individuals!
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a team member, you would prepare and serve our guests. As a
part of this, you would help maintain the high-quality of
product by following our quality and safety standards.
Job Functions:
● Enthusiastically greet all guests when they enter the
restaurant.
● Have fun and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
● Strive to exceed guest expectations.
● Follow recipe and preparation guidelines.
● Be a willing team player and maintain a cooperative,
respectful working relationship with management and
fellow team members.
● Be an ambassador for QDOBA Kingston.
● Monitor the quality of products and take appropriate
actions to maintain that quality.
● Receive the inventories and arrange them in respective
shelves/WIC.
● Clean, organize, and restock all stations.
● Clean utensils, equipment, walls and floors.
● Ensure personal appearance meets company standards
and display professionalism at all times.
● Recognize and adhere to all sanitation, safety, security
policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for
all.
● Take all company required training/refresher training time
and again.
● Perform other tasks as directed by senior team leaders &
management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
● High school diploma or equivalent education required.
● Hotel and hospitality management is highly preferred.
● Knowledge of kitchen equipment in a QSR setup is an
asset.
● Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a Team member in a
customer service environment preferably in any brand
QSR.
● Communication skills in English is a must, French/Spanish
comprehension is an asset.
● Fundamental reading, writing, math and computer /POS
skills are required;
● Must successfully complete the in-house management
training program.
● Should have access to adequate transportation and
complete the administrative driving requirement. Ontario
G/G2 driver’s licence is desired.
● May be required to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift
up to 50 pounds. May be required to operate/access
equipment at standard heights while walking or standing
during the entire shift. Hazards include, but are not limited
to, slipping, tripping, burns, cuts, abrasions, and falls.
● Must make a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week
with shifts of varying times and lengths (Full Time). Must
be available and willing to work a variety of days/times
including weekends and late evenings.
● Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable
individuals with disabilities to perform the essential
functions.
● Age requirements may apply in order to remain in
compliance with Provincial and Federal laws.
