Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding guest services by welcoming and attending to customers’ needs promptly and courteously.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and culinary excellence.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain smooth operations.
- Engage with guests to upsell menu items, enhancing their dining experience while increasing restaurant sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help colleagues when needed.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
