JOB OBJECTIVE
We are currently seeking for an experienced and technically skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for picking, packing, shipping and receiving of quality clothing apparel in our warehouse environment.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
- Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Carry out duties in compliance to legislative responsibilities, company guidelines and procedures regarding operation of powered equipment.
- Shift flexibility is essential. Staff are required to be open to working voluntary and mandatory extra hours and willing to work at a fast pace.
- Even with climate controls, temperatures in some part of the warehouse can range from 15-32 Degrees Celsius.
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the warehouse in a safe manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in a high paced warehouse environment.
- Proficiency operating technical machinery and RF scanners is considered an asset.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
