Job Overview: To support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by working across both the distribution and parts departments, while also providing support to the goods in warehouse team when required. The role involves a variety of warehouse duties including picking, packing, stock handling, and inventory control, ensuring products and parts are processed and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders in line with daily schedules and customer requirements
- Ensure accurate labelling and packaging of outbound goods
- Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist with picking and issuing parts for internal and external orders
- Accurately log and record stock movements and usage
- Support the assembly team by ensuring timely supply of required parts
- Help manage parts inventory, including stock checks and replenishment
- Provide general warehouse support where required
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Counterbalance forklift truck license required, pedestrian reach truck license desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
