Warehouse Assistant
Our client is a fast paced growing organisation with “people” at the heart of their business. They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their already busy successful team based in St Albans
The role
- Unloading deliveries and stocking goods
- Product storage and labelling
- Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
- Meeting despatch schedules and deadlines
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies warehouse manager.
- Ensure non-conforming materials are reported to warehouse manager.
- Check each delivery for adherence to products ordered and quality.
- Recording any damaged/missing/faulty goods
- Adhere to the company’s recycling policies.
- Maintain a clean and tidy department.
- Opportunity to operate machinery.
- Communication with couriers, obtaining CMR’s and POC’s etc, from the drivers.
- Working as part of a diverse team
- Overtime opportunities are available.
- General admin duties
About you
- Forklift experience would be a bonus but not necessary.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Previous Admin Experience is desirable.
