FULL TIME (5 days per week)
Hours: 38.5 Per week
Salary: £12.30 P/H (Under 21’s £10.00 P/H)

Location: Darwen, Lancashire. MUST be able to demonstrate right to work in the UK.

We are a multi award winning, family ran business based in Darwen and we are looking for Warehouse Operative’s to help us meet and exceed customer expectations. We are one of the largest stockiest of dressmaking fabrics in the UK and are looking for driven individuals with a strong work ethic to add value to our already successful team.
At Minerva we have an established, efficient performing group of staff and we are looking at add one more individual to our existing team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be required to assist in fulfilling customer orders including, but not limited to;
– Cutting fabric accurately for customer orders – this is the bread and butter of the business and is the primary focus for new employees
You will also be asked to:
– Pick and pack customer orders
– Deliver stock within the warehouse
– Stock checks
– Assist in any other task to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse
– Contribute to keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and orderly
All staff are required to work to the company’s health and safety policies and it is worth noting that a good level of physicality will be required for this role.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
– Good standard of literacy and numeracy
– Strong communication skills with a good understanding of the English language (written and verbal)
– Ability to meet targets and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to uphold high company standards
– Happy to be flexible to meet business needs
– Impeccable attention to detail
DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
– Knowledge of fabric
– Previous experience of working in a fast paced, target driven, warehouse environment
