About Us
HeizomatGB Ltd is a small family-run business providing high-quality biomass boiler systems and related equipment imported from manufacturers in Germany. Alongside sales and importing goods from Germany, we provide technical support and hold a large stock of boiler spare parts at our premises to supply our customers with critical spares at favourable lead times, such as on a 24h service.
We are committed to delivering excellent products and service to Heizomat customers across the UK via a network of independent distributors. Our team is dedicated to sustainable biomass energy solutions alongside renewable energy solutions more widely and we pride ourselves on being a reliable and professional partner in the industry.
Role Description
We are looking for an “Inventory Coordinator” to join our team. This role is labour focused, with most tasks focused on manual handling, packing, and stock management. There will be some lone working involved but also working within a small team. Furthermore, there will be some administrative responsibilities linked to the daily labour tasks, which will also form an essential part of the role. There will be opportunities for development.
Key Responsibilities
Labour-Based Tasks:
· Packing and dispatching stock items for parcel and pallet shipments (involves heavy lifting).
· Repacking deliveries from Germany for dispatch in the UK.
· Pre-packing goods for urgent orders.
· Carrying out periodic stock takes.
· Maintaining and organising the stockroom.
· Compiling stock data such as part numbers and weights.
Office-Based Tasks:
· Handling administrative tasks related to spare part orders, including digital filing, producing delivery notes and booking collections and deliveries.
· Managing stock quantities and compiling reorder lists as required.
· Cross-checking delivery notes against the stocklist.
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage physical tasks involving heavy lifting.
· Basic IT and administrative skills, particularly in maintaining stock data and managing orders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
· Ability to work flexibly, adapting between physical and office-based tasks as required.
Desired Skills (Not Mandatory)
· Driving licence.
· Forklift licence or experience operating a forklift.
· Experience working with biomass boilers or a background in machinery.
