Primary Responsibilities

· Management of inventoried material within the 3500 sq-ft warehouse

· Arranging for and receiving shipments

· Packaging solutions for outgoing materials

· Maintaining inventory of consumable shipping materials

· Loading and unloading material from freight trucks

· Moderate / high skill level on Forklift Truck operation required due to types of loads being handled

· Picking and packaging material orders based on instructions provided by engineering staff

· Ensuring proper operation of material handling equipment including safety checks and reporting of deficiencies.

· Communicating clearly with team members

· Overall management responsibility for Warehouse, Tools and Equipment

Supporting Responsibilities

· Provide general support to engineering development, engineering testing & production teams, which may require basic fabrication abilities

Qualifications, Education & Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Experience using MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams & Adobe

· A minimum of 2 years in warehouse environment

· Forklift Certificate for counterbalance through an accredited organisation

· Must have good planning and organizational skills

· Safety conscious

· Able to work well independently

· Shipping / Receiving experience

· Successful candidate must be able to obtain and hold Government of Canada security clearance at the Reliability status level

· Must have clean Class 5 drivers license and passport without travel restrictions. Class 3 with airbrake endorsement is a bonus.

· Experience in using common fabrication techniques & tools including for metal & wood is a bonus

· Experience in basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and integration is a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
