Warehouse Worker (April 2025 – January 2026)
The LCBO is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world’s largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol.
Under the direction of department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, safe case handling, receiving, storing, preparing, checking, and shipping functions either manually or by operating material handling equipment, including rideable equipment.
We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the outstanding team in our Ottawa Retail Service Centre facility located at 1980 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to showing up and completing the assigned tasks. Above all else, we love Warehouse Workers who don’t mind lifting heavy things.

About the Role:
- Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (training will be provided)
- Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider that weigh between 40 lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60 lbs (27 kg)
- Required to stand for lengthy periods of time with repetitive movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, and walking
- Clean up accidental spills, stuff drops on occasion; we all pitch in to be safe
- Manually unload cases of product from containers and trailers
About You:
- We encourage students and people who can work a second job to apply.
- You are required to complete a criminal record check that is paid for by the LCBO.
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English, as well be proficient in numbers.

- Afternoon, Evening, and occasional weekend shifts allow you to find the right schedule for your life
- Afternoon and Evening shifts provide opportunities for you to work another job, be with family and/or have time for school studies
- Provided with PPE (Eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, dust mask)
Shifts:
- Afternoon shift (4:00pm – 11:45pm)
- Midnight shift (12:00am – 7:45am)
- Training takes place on the Day shift (8:00am – 3:45pm)
