We are looking for a People Operations Analyst to join our People team and provide essential HR support across the business. The role is key in ensuring smooth people operations, supporting employees, and assisting with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a positive employee experience. Candidates with an engineering background in any discipline are preferred.
Your Mission
- Support People Team in day-to-day HR operations, including employee record management, HR system updates, and general administrative tasks
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and general HR matters and escalate issues where necessary
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for employees
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates, and managing communications
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including wellbeing programmes, team events, and internal communications
- Assist with HR reporting and compliance tasks, including document management and policy updates
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters
From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support employee interactions
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
It’s great, but not required, if you have
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
- A passion for people and creating a great employee experience
- A strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Experience working with an HRIS (Human Resources Information System)

Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) for the first 6 months
- Manage key employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, compliance) independently, seeking guidance on complex matters
- Resolve 90% of HR queries directly, escalating only complex cases
- Ensure accurate and timely interview scheduling, candidate communications, and feedback tracking
- Maintain 100% accuracy in HR records, adhering to GDPR and company policies
- Own employee communication channels, ensuring timely HR updates
- Deliver reports on recruitment, employee satisfaction, and compliance, providing actionable insights
£28,000 – £35,000 a year
