Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving.
You will be part of a network of branches that ensures patients, hospitals and chemists across the country receive their medical requirements every day and making a difference to people’s lives – it’s not just a job!
As part of our warehouse team, you will have a busy and active role that will involve sorting, picking, packing, and dispatching medical products to our customers and patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, picking, packing, shipping and movement of stock
- Unloading and loading of carriers using Company Forklift
- Various and daily administration and logging information and data onto the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Recording and monitoring temperature of work areas, and ensuring compliance with GDP regulation and Health and Safety requirements at all times.
The person will hold the following attributes:
- · Ability to work under pressure and effectively communicate with all personnel
- · Excellent attention to detail
- · Ability to work with minimum supervision
- · Experience of working independently and as part of a team
- · Ability to read and carefully follow instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
