Housekeeper
About Us: We are a charming pub and bed and breakfast located in the heart of Birmingham. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, offering excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
As a B&B Cleaner, you will play an essential role in ensuring our 12 rooms are in pristine condition, providing an inviting and welcoming environment for our guests. Your responsibilities will include cleaning over rooms after guests depart and preparing rooms for new arrivals. You will also be required to maintain cleanliness in our Café and Bar area as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy 12 bedrooms, including making beds and changing linens.
- Sanitize and clean bathrooms and toilets.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Vacuum and mop floors in all areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Ensure the bar and lounge area are clean and presentable.
- Report any maintenance issues to the management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous bar / hotel / bed & breakfast cleaning experience is essential.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Using initiative with any ad hoc tasks that need completing.
Salary:
· Up to £11.44 per hour
Additional information:
· Monday – Friday
· Part time or full time, permanent
