In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individual to join our family as Live in Caregiver 5 days per week. This position will be for the month of November. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Client lives in East York area.
How you will spend your days:
Dementia support-redirect and safety supervision
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Basic Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Providing companionship and emotional support
Drive and escort client to outings such as shopping and casino
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers
Success in this role:
2 years experience as a caregiver
Italian speaking is an asset
Current CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills

$220.00 per day
