Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to order picking, shipping, and receiving.
This is a Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM position. No nights or weekends.
The warehouse position involves the following tasks (Warehouse experience preferred but not necessary, we will train the right candidate):
Duties include: Shipping/receiving, packing/unpacking cases of product, some heavy lifting (including up and down stairs), inventory management, stocking shelves correctly in a sorted, alphanumeric coded sequence, picking/checking orders and occasional, simple cleaning tasks.
The warehouse worker may assist customers or retail staff as needed. The position requires an ability to prioritize tasks, multitask at times and communicate effectively with all staff members. The physical ability to lift and carry boxes up and down stairs, reach up high or bend down low will be necessary. Accuracy, speed, attention for detail and basic math ability will be helpful personal qualities to bring to the job.
